So lets start with the CEO!

The man responsible for starting the Allstarzz over 15 years ago - Carl Bailey.

News Hound decided to ask the man at the top some probing questions, so lets find out about the man who started the Worlds Premier Sports Events Team!

NH : You came from a sports background, playing RFL. So how did you end up creating The IA?

Carl : Yes, its a pretty different World from Rugby League, but the aim was to move into International Event Management after the sports career. The Allstarzz were the result of cheerleaders being recruited for Super Leagues London Broncos. FRom there we created The Hammerettes at West Ham whilst I persued RFL in Europes Superleague and eventually we created the brand to manage International Rugby Events. The IA then performed as part of the Match Day experience at all events across the UK and overseas.

NH : What has been the highs in the 15 + years of The Allstarzz

Carl : So, so many! The IRB Rugby 7's stands out, alongside managing, Directing and producing all the Rugby League finals at Old Trafford, The Millennium Stadium, Murrayfield and Twickenham! Working with some of the biggest Pop stars and seeing my Allstarzz perform alongside them! I suppose giving people the opportunity to perform in front of 60,000+ stadium fans and the Millions watching on TV - and seeing junior Allstarzz go on to perform in the elite team at these events, thats given me the biggest satisfaction!

NH : Whats best? Playing Rugby or managing events?

Carl : I suppose the events was a natural onward transition from playing, but both were equally importnat in my career path.

NH : How does the current Allstarzz team compare to previous years?

Carl : The team evolves each year. It learns from previous years and past events. The squad of 2003 was a close well drilled team, but the current squad has it all. It will be eciting to see them grow as a unit during this year and early 2012!

On the pitch, there’s over 12 hours of side-stepping, break-making, high-octane rugby. International Allstarzz Sports Dance Cheerleaders, bands and big screen entertainment keep the tempo up between games and live music around the stadium ensures you’re never far from the action. The Siam Cup is one of the oldest Rugby Trophies in existence andf the Allstarzz are proud top have been asked to grace the occasion.

It is the annual challenge trophy between Jersey Rugby Football Club and Guernsey Rugby Football Club and is played in alternate islands each year, normally at the end of the season.

Asia Tour Memories 2011

Well, another Asia Tour comes to a close and the team now look forward to the next overseas appearance with eagerness! Probably the best tour to date ended this week when the team touched down at Gatwick Airport, London following 7 nights of Rugby 10'd, IRB 7's Corporate appearances and a whole lot of fun throughout!

CEO Carl Bailey had this to say :

"6 years of Hong Kong touring and I'd have to say this team that represented the brand was probably the most complete, professional team we have asembled. Their attitude to each and every task and performance was totally professional and each Allstar brought something unique to the tour. I'm very proud to have been around such a great team this tour!"

The Hong Kong Rugby Tens is never short of suoer stars at the event, and they dont come much bigger than Australian Rugby Star George Gregan who met with the Allstarzz for a chat and photos.

George Gregan made more international appearances for his National Ream than any other player in the sports history, having also played Super 12 for the Brumbies. A Barbarian international as well, George has also represented Japan based team Suntory Sungoliath and French team RC Toulonnais.

A packed O2 Arena saw England fail to build on a good start as they lost the final match of their three-game Fiat International Series against New Zealand 47-40.
England had led 19-16 at half-time - the first time they had been in front against the Silver Fearns during the series - however the tourists hit back to complete a clean sweep.
Jo Harten had given England the lead in the opening minute, while at the other end Sonia Mkoloma and Stacey Francis made it hard work for the Ferns to find their shooters.
However the game changed in third quarter when New Zealand introduced captain Casey Williams and Maria Tutaia to the fray.
With Williams pulling the strings, New Zealand were able to gain a foothold in the game - and with eight minutes they had moved in front for the first time in the game.
England's cause was not helped by injuries to Sonia Mkoloma and Karen Atkinson and they found themselves 30-29 down going into the final period.
Although a three-goal salvo extended New Zealand's lead, England hit back to move in front 35-34.
However, the tourists upped the pace and were able to pull clear - with Williams again leading the way.

It's Action All The Way At Darts World Championships

The Sky Sports Dance Team , Allstarzz dazzled at the Ladbrokes at favourites tumbled!

Australia took another battering when last years losing finalist Aussie Simon Whitlock was sensationally beaten by Hollands Vincent van der Voort 4 -2. Scotlands Gary Anderson won 4-0 over Andy Smith whilst crowd pleaser Raymond "Barney" van Barneveld defeated Colin Osbourne 4-3.

But never 2nd place to any one, it was the Allstarzz who take the crowds ecstatic applause throughout the last night of World Darts in 2010!

Our Girls Meet Some Very Special People at Twickers

It was smiles all round when our girls made a special visit to the VIP Royal Box at twickenham last weekend. Guest of the IRB at the England training day were none other than wounded servicemen from our armed services.

These heroes were given the All Star surprise during the afternoon, a meeting that certainly left an emotional mark within the team.

"They are quite amazing people" said Jess J, after retuurning from meeting the soldiers. "They all have given so much for their country and, despite their injuries, they are all laughing, smiling and enjoying a fantastic day. They are truely are amazing people!"

As well as entertaining the thousands of fans inside the stadium, many an All Star fan managed to meet the girls, gert autographs and even get their picture with the team .... lucky young boys and girls indeed!

The 2010/11 Season is upon us and The Hammerettes TM (All Starzz) have themselves been making some pretty impressive signings of their own.

So, lets not waste any time in introducing one or 2 stars to you, the fans -

1st up is Sophie Henzell, our street dance superstar. Sophie brings an urban feel to our Elite team line up for 2010/11.

Next, welcome Jess Gerrard. Model, Dancer and all round crowd pleasure. Be sure not to miss this Star performing at all events this year!!!

Already making herself a first teamer in only a matter of weeks is our 3rd signing Donna Serby. Those of you who have seen Sky Sports 20 20 Cricket this summer wuill no doubt have seen this All Star entertaining fans of the short form of cricket! Look out for more from Donna this coming year!

4th signing is the unforgetable Amy Finch. Amy's first appearance in her 1st week was to grace the International Beach Volleyball at Sandbanks ... and what an impression she made there! Another that will have the crowds cheering this year!

New Allstarzz Brand Structure Takes Place

Its been go go go within the management team at Allstarzz this week and we can now proudly announce the following :

Caroline Smith, who has been Choreograpger for the International Allstarzz at our Pimlico, London Training Centre is now taking the position of Director of Dance and will be heading up the Essex Division based in Brentwood.

Caroline is one of the key management team and is due to hold national auditions for the squad.

Administrative duties as Team Manager will be Anna Martin (anna@allstarzz.co.uk )Anna will co-ordinate all team matters replacing Claire Bailey. From events, to account management, through to overseeing Community teams, Anna has some serious work to get stuck into! The role of Team Manager has been re-introduced and Anna will work closely with -

Team Captain & Event Manager, Kate Musson. Kate has been one of the biggest stars at All Starzz for some time now, having captained and managed All Starzz events across the Globe.

Australian Signing for Allstarzz!

Well, the Aussies might be struggling in the cricket, football & Rugby (sorry Carl!) but Allstarzz have signed up a true Aussie Gem in the form of Natasha Usmar!

Trained at the Ecole Ballet Studios Lindfield, Tash went on to perform at The Vienna State Opera Ballet School!

Our Sydney Aussie Allstar is no newcomer to sport, having been a main player in the NRL, Cheerleading for none other than the Bulldogs!

Now, destined to be a firm favourite with the sports fans in the UK, it's "G'day Tash!" from News Hound .... have a bonza time being an All Star!!!
