The 2009 Asia Tour - IRB Rugby 7's first team pics have been released and News Hound has got his hands on them 1st!!!
Although not finalised, the pictures give an indication of the Allstarzz that will be wowing the Hong Kong stadium fans and corporate events in March .... and what a team its looking like!!!
With the team looking to ensure that they leave their very special mark on everyone they meet this year, it looks like being one of the most "eye-catching" teams ever to leave these shores!
Marketing Co-ordinator Gina Lewis says -
"The 7's is a unique event and an unbelievable experience for fans, players, Corporate clients and, of course, The International Allstarzz that fly out!
With 50% of the role out in Hong Kong being Promotional & Marketing, the team has far more to do to promote the brand than just dance.
Its also becoming clear that, with so many events for the team in Asia, there is also a need to be fair and pread the events across the whole of the squad. This gives ALL Allstarzz the opportunity to experience this unique occasion.
The Hong Kong 7's team has not been totally finalised, with 3 other tour dates in Asia being currently agreed all needing Premier Allstarzz. Its looking like being a busy year for the girls!"
The squad will fly out the last week of March 09 for the week of the 7's for Corporate appearances, VIP Press conferences, photoshoots and stadium appearances, before culminating in the Final days Stadium Closing event parade.
