It's Official
The Allstarzz will be returning to RFL as the new Harlequin Hearts for 2009.
Speaking today, Allstarzz Commercial Manager Gina Lewis said -
"Its been a fantastic past few weeks but its all official now - the team cant wait for the season to start." She continued - "its only right and fitting that The Best Sports Dance Team should represent the Capital in Super League. Its where we started back in 1996! The fans of The Harlequins are in for a treat."
So it was all systems go as the girls headed for their first assignment as Harlequin Hearts when Harlequins Rugby League were at Whitton's Christmas Extravaganza at the weekend, spreading festive cheer and the joy of Rugby League.
Not even the weather could dampen the spirits of Harlequins Rugby League as they took to Whitton High Street.
Will Sharp and Luke May from the first team took a break from training to met with fans and shoppers. The Harlequins Hearts (your very own girls), together with Buck and Dusty, provided a ray of sunshine on a very wintery afternoon!
The day was a great success, and thank you to everyone who stopped to have a go at the inflatable kicking cage, enter the prize raffle, or just find out more about the club!
And for the Hearts, well, lets just say its the start of something special!!!
